Trump — A Third Term, Anger Against Putin & Tariffs

U.S. President Donald Trump, in a Sunday-morning interview with NBC News, said that he was not going to rule out the possibility of a third term in the White House.

While an individual can only serve twice as per the Constitution and a third term has been banned under the 22nd Amendment, Trump said that there were methods to do so, adding that he was “not joking”. “A lot of people want me to do it. But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”

Abolishing the two-term limit through a constitutional amendment would require either a two-thirds majority in Congress or approval from two-thirds of the states to call a constitutional convention.

Moreover, expressing his anger against Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump said he was “pissed off” at him for questioning his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership credibility. “If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” he said.

In addition to his ongoing crackdown, Trump on Sunday announced that his reciprocal tariff push will begin with “all countries”, dismissing speculation that the initial tariffs, set to be unveiled on April 2, might be for 10 to 15 countries. Take a look at Trump’s major moves so far.

Did Trump supercharge distrust driving allies of the U.S. away?

Wisconsin Supreme Court Election and Elon Musk’s $2 Million Giveaway

Elon Musk gave away $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters, who signed an America PAC petition opposing “partisan” judges, and named them spokespeople for his political group.

Taking the stage wearing a Wisconsin cheesehead hat (watch), Musk framed the upcoming state’s Supreme Court election as crucial to President Donald Trump’s agenda and “the future of civilization”.

Musk took the stage after the Wisconsin Supreme Court refused to block his distribution of million-dollar checks. The giveaways have sparked criticism for potentially violating election laws that prohibit offering incentives to influence voters.

The election, now the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history, has seen over $80 million spent by both sides. Musk has contributed approximately $18 million, drawing backlash for his involvement, especially since Tesla recently filed a lawsuit challenging a Wisconsin law that prevents the company from opening dealerships.

Top FDA Official Resigns Amid RFK Jr.’s ‘Misinformation’

A senior vaccine official Dr. Peter Marks resigned as he cited Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “misinformation” and disregard for “truth and transparency”.

Marks also criticized Kennedy for “undermining” public confidence in the measles vaccine as the country battles an outbreak of the airborne virus with Texas reporting over 400 confirmed cases.

This comes amid the HHS, under Kennedy Jr., cut about 10,000 full-time employees across health agencies after over 10,000 employees voluntarily quit.

Furthermore, RFK Jr. has now appointed vaccine critic David Geier as a senior data analyst to take part in an Autism study, which will analyse potential links between the disease and vaccines that have been debunked a long time ago.

From downplaying measles outbreak in Texas to FDA resignation — Is RFK Jr. already vindicating his critics?

This or That?

AI-generated models are becoming more common in the fashion industry, raising concerns about job losses in modelling. H&M announced plans to create AI-generated "twins" of 30 models, with consent. allowing them to be used in social media posts and marketing campaigns. While some see AI as a tool for innovation, others worry it could replace real talent and diversity on runways. The shift sparks debate over the future of modeling and the role of technology in fashion.
